What is Business Finance Lease?
Business Finance Lease is a traditional leasing method for “off-balance sheet funding”, unless preparing accounts under full International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in which case will be on-balance sheet. As part of this agreement, you pay a fixed monthly rental and can adjust the payments by altering the advanced rental payment, duration and the final payment to suit the requirements of your business.
How does Business Finance Lease work with Stellantis Financial Services?
In the first or primary lease period, you can tailor your monthly payments to better suit your budget by varying the deposit and duration of the contract or by agreeing a final payment (balloon payment) at the end of the primary lease period. The final payment is calculated on the anticipated value of the vehicle at the end of the primary lease period. You then have the choice of ending the agreement or entering a secondary lease period with a peppercorn rental, which is equal to one month's rental payable per year. - If your business is VAT registered, you can reclaim 100% of the VAT on the rentals if the vehicle is used exclusively for business (this includes all vans) or 50% of VAT on the finance element of the rentals if the vehicle is also used privately.
