5 Day Free Car Insurance is a short-term, comprehensive, car insurance policy designed to cover you for the first few days once you’ve collected your vehicle. This means you’ll be insured to drive your car home with the peace of mind that your vehicle is covered from handover. It’s a convenient way to get your new car on the road. 

     

About 5 Day Free Car Insurance with Stellantis Insurance

We offer our customers up to 5 days free car insurance with any new or used car when purchased from our network of Retailers (subject to underwriting and eligibility criteria). It’s simple to apply for 5 Day Free Car Insurance online.

What’s included:Key exclusions:
  • Loss of or damage to your car: Resulting from accidental damage, fire or theft.
  • Third party liability: Following an accident, we’ll cover your liability to other people for injury (unlimited) or damage to their property (up to £20 million).
  • Replacement locks and keys: Cover to the value of £1,000 if your car keys are lost or stolen.
  • Courtesy car: You may keep the courtesy car for a period of up to 14 days or until your car is returned to you (whichever is less). Where your car is repairable or deemed a total loss, subject to availability.
  • Windscreen cover: Glass repair or replacement is covered up to the market value of your car.
  • Replacement child car seat: Cover in the event of an accident which involves impact damage.
  • Personal accident cover up to £2,500 per person up to a maximum of £10,000.
  • Medical expenses of up to £100 per person, up to £500.
  • Electric vehicles: Cover for your battery and charging cables.
  • Any loss, damage or liability if you are not aged 17 to 85 and do not live permanently in the United Kingdom or the Isle of Man.
  • Any loss, damage or liability if your car is not taxed and registered in the United Kingdom or the Isle of Man.
  • Any travel outside the territorial limits.
  • Death or Bodily Injury caused by alcohol, drugs, racing, not wearing a seatbelt, or any event caused intentionally by an insured person.
  • All points under the General Exclusions section of the Policy Wording are not covered.
  • All points listed in the “What is not covered” column of each section of the Policy Wording are not covered.
  • Car contents and personal belongings are not covered.
  • A courtesy car in the event of the theft or attempted theft of your car.

 

What you’ll need when setting up your 5 Day Free Car Insurance:

To get started, you’ll need:

  • The Retailer code (provided by your local Retailer)
  • Your vehicle registration number and model details
  • Full details of all drivers, including claims, convictions, and No Claims Discounts.

When applying for 5 Day Free Car Insurance with Stellantis Insurance, you’ll get a Subscription Car Insurance quote to consider (subject to underwriting and eligibility criteria). You can accept the Subscription Car Insurance quote or choose the 5 Day Free Car Insurance option only.

To make the process of getting 5 Day Free Car Insurance as smooth as possible, Stellantis Insurance will email your 5 Day Free Car Insurance certificate directly to you and the retailer you are buying your car from.
