Changing your mileage allowance
If you go over your mileage allowance in one year, there’s often no need to worry as your allowance is based on the total estimated mileage over your entire agreement, not a single year.
Key things to consider before requesting a change to your annual mileage:
- Mileage reschedules can only be quoted once you have paid 3 or more instalments.
- Change to your mileage will result in a change to your monthly repayments and your agreement.
- If the change to your agreement is more than £25 per month, we’ll need to complete new underwriting checks and including a credit search. Approval is subject to status, and the credit check may be recorded on your file.
- We can only increase the annual mileage by a minimum of 5,000 miles over the term of your agreement.
- The minimum contractual mileage is 6,000 miles per year.

Please be aware that if you’ve gone over your agreed total mileage at the end of your agreement, excess mileage charges will apply at the rate outlined in your agreement.
